Not online radio?

Heard tell of this rather lame comment about podcasting yesterday, from somebody who thinks of himself as quite the IT guru: "I don't see the difference between podcasting and online radio." He was referring specifically to the housemate's podcast, Caribbean Free Radio, which leads one to think there might have been a hidden agenda, but if he really can't see the difference he needs to read this article. (The site has an annoying registration requirement, but feel free to use my username [delphine] and password [delphine].)

As the housemate says about CFR, "Could I have simply decided one day that I wanted to have an online radio station and then have had it up and running the next?" And that, by the way, is a rhetorical question.

PS Thanks to The Evil Genius Chronicles for guiding us to the article.
